Fulton Police help lake-area authorities find a wanted criminal. Fulton Police Chief Steve Myers says 42-year-old Vernon Dale Parker was wanted on multiple warrants and for questioning in several incidents in Pulaski County.

“We were able to apprehend Parker through information that we had received. We were able to take him into custody with no incident,” says Myers.

Myers says Parker had been considered armed and dangerous, but no weapons were found.

Court records show a long criminal history, including active burglary and stealing warrants in Tuscumbia and Osage Beach. Parker is also a suspect in a case last weekend near Dixon, where someone was threatened with a homemade bomb.
