State lawmakers have until 6:00 p.m. Friday to pass a balanced budget. It is looking like there will be hundreds of millions of dollars in cuts because of the coronavirus pandemic. The House and Senate versions have different takes on how much of a cut, if anything, higher education in the state should face.
