Columbia’s Shelter Insurance holding three more nights of “Winter Wonderland”

Look for traffic congestion again this evening around Columbia’s Shelter Gardens for “Winter Wonderland.”

It’s the third straight year that Shelter has done the Winter Wonderland garden of lights in its famous gardens, which are decorated with thousands of lights. You’re able to walk around a lighted path and take photos of the thousands of lights on display. There are also several different holiday scenes and decorations that include include “Peanuts” characters like Charlie Brown and Lucy.

There are three more nights of “Winter Wonderland”: tonight, tomorrow and Saturday. It’s from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

The five-acre Shelter gardens include a waterfall, rock garden and a garden for the blind. It also includes 300 varieties of trees and shrubs.
