You still have four more nights to enjoy the holiday light spectacular from Columbia’s Veterans United Home Loans (VU), including tonight. The event is free and no reservations are required. VU spokesman Chad Moller notes it’s a drive-through display.

“It’s all self-contained in your car. Once you get on the campus, there’s a path that people are directed around and there’s people waving you to go the right direction so it’s pretty foolproof honestly,” Moller says.

The four remaining nights are tonight through Sunday at VU’s main campus on Veterans United Drive. The display is open each night from 7 to 10:30, and traffic is heaviest at the start of each night. Mr. Moller tells 939 the Eagle that the holiday light display is something that they collectively take a lot of pride in.

“We know this is a pretty big deal, it’s become a big deal anyway in the community and it’s just something we look forward to every year no doubt,” says Moller.

Mr. Moller emphasizes VU has a great staff and that some of them plan for the event all year.
