Moberly’s Thomas Motors purchased by fast-growing Ed Morse Automotive Group

A fast-growing Florida-based automotive group has purchased Moberly’s Thomas Motors, making it the Ed Morse Automotive Group’s ninth Missouri dealership.

An Ed Morse Automotive Group spokesman tells 939 the Eagle that they plan to retain all 20 Thomas Motors employees. The company says it values the team that’s currently in place in Moberly. Ed Morse Automotive Group chief executive officer Teddy Morse says he’s thrilled at the company’s expansion in Missouri. He says the company understands why Moberly is known as the Magic City, saying it is a true testament to the quality of the community and its people.

They’ve purchased the dealership from longtime owner Don Thomas. The dealership is located on Moberly’s West Outer road and is visible from busy Highway 63. This will be the company’s ninth dealership in the Show-Me State and its second in mid-Missouri. They’re also in California, Missouri.

Mr. Morse says the 20 employees of the family-owned Moberly dealership bring a tremendous knowledge and passion for automobiles and a deep care for the customer.
